1. The product
Pongu AI is software developed by Pongu, LLC that helps you run an AI app or agent on a Mac and reach it through the signed-in Messages account on that Mac. Pongu may provide local routing, conversation controls, memory, diagnostics, schedules, and optional managed account connections. Features, supported runtimes, and availability vary by build and remain subject to qualification; the website does not promise that an unreleased or unqualified capability is available.
2. Your accounts and permissions
You are responsible for the Mac, Apple Account, Messages account, AI runtime, provider account, Google or iCloud account, and macOS permissions you choose to use. You must have authority to connect each account and must follow the terms and policies of Apple, Google, the selected AI provider, Polar, and any other service you use. Do not give Pongu credentials that you are not authorized to use. Keep your Mac and operating-system account secure.
Managed Connections are optional and separate from harness-managed MCPs or provider login. Pongu does not promise that a provider will approve a requested scope, keep a token valid, or remain available. You can disconnect a native connection from the Connections tab; details are in the Privacy Policy.
3. Authorized use and content
Use Pongu only for lawful, authorized purposes and only with people, conversations, accounts, files, mail, and calendars you are permitted to access. You are responsible for prompts, messages, files, recipients, scheduled instructions, tool calls, and other content submitted through your setup. Review an agent’s proposed or completed action before relying on it, especially for an external send, file change, calendar change, or other irreversible effect.
Do not use Pongu to impersonate another person, evade provider safeguards, access data without permission, send abuse or spam, or interfere with the app, Messages, Google APIs, or another service. You must comply with applicable law and with the policies governing the accounts and tools you connect.
4. Third-party services and data
Pongu is not the AI provider, messaging provider, cloud storage provider, email provider, calendar provider, payment processor, or OAuth authority. When you use a selected runtime or tool, your request and any relevant context may be sent to that service. Google, Apple, Polar, and AI providers control their own services, terms, privacy practices, limits, and outages. Pongu cannot guarantee a third party’s response, retention, billing, safety, or availability.
Our handling of local app and managed-connection data is described in the Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your content to Pongu, except for the limited rights needed to operate the software and respond to your support request.
5. Website and license
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use a copy of the Pongu AI application provided to you for your own authorized use, subject to these terms and any license terms supplied with that copy. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or distribute the application except as allowed by law or by written permission. Pongu, LLC and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted. Website text, artwork, and marks may not be copied or presented as your own.
6. Purchases and support
If you purchase a license or trial through a Polar link, Polar handles the checkout, payment, receipt, license-key delivery, expiration, activation management, and customer portal under its own terms. A checkout link or license key does not guarantee that an unreleased app build, provider account, or third-party service will be available for your setup. 7. Availability and disclaimers
Pongu is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Pongu, LLC disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, message delivery, model accuracy, provider access, data retention, recovery, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Do not use Pongu or an agent response as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or emergency advice.
You remain responsible for checking recipients and external effects. A local connection control or capability check is not a promise that a provider will accept, execute, or reverse an action.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the product or these terms as the feature set and applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies the current terms. You may stop using Pongu at any time and remove local connections or data using the app’s controls. We may suspend or end access to a provided copy if necessary to address abuse, legal requirements, security risk, or a material breach of these terms.
